Statistical programming is a key element to providing high quality professional results which can be reproduced time and time again. Whether you are a complete novice having never heard or SAS or R software or have a team of professional programmers I can work with you. I am a proficient SAS programmer and I have a growing knowledge of R, I pride myself on adhering to good quality programming practice with neat and well documented code. I will develop and use macros for efficiency whenever needed.

I work with custom data typed into a spreadsheet, raw data from a data entry system or data provided in the industry standard (e.g. CDISC). I always program defensively and will check key data as I work. I provide derivations to create data ready for analysis (e.g. ADaMs). Once the data are ready, I will provide the planned tables, figures and data listings.

At this time, I do not take responsibility for adherence to ADaM or SDTM standards as I do not use Pinnacle21. If ADaMs are required, I can work with your team to review study specific specifications / mapping documents from a statistical aspect . This includes checking or providing computational algorithms for the planned analyses and reviewing the specifications for completeness.

I am happy to work within your systems to ensure the highest security of your data whether this be connecting to a remote desktop or using a laptop provided by you with your own security and software installed. Alternatively, for smaller datasets, I can offer secure data storage and R programming or simply summaries in excel. I am transparent with all our security arrangements and these will be documented and agreed prior to receiving any data.
